Going beyond the gates of the church to reach those who are incarcerated is the most challenging and personally rewarding ministry.  Jesus said “I was in prison and you came to me.” the church has a scriptural mandate to go out “beyond the gates” to share the word of God to those in need.  By knowing the truth, the truth shall set them free.
