WHAT IS YOUR CHRISTIAN POINT OF VIEW

Walk by faith and not by sight.
Throughout this year, I am praying that you increase your faith in God who knows the past, the present, and your future. As Christians, we walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). When your faith is tested and Biblical histories are challenged, like the Hollywood production of the movies Noah and Exodus; when strong messages of confusion are growing, it is then that we must find our Comfort in the Scriptures. This leads me to ask the question: When the Son of Man comes will He really find Faith on the earth? Jesus asked that same question. The fact that he pondered on that thought is an indication to us that things on Earth will be in a faithless state…which is why his return is needed for the very elect’s sake.
With so much drama in the world today, wars of identity and discrimination, those seeking justice and others embracing injustice as their ways of life...Jesus tells the story of the unjust judge who did not fear God or man. The woman in the story sought after him for justice and she nagged him until he acted in her favor. The woman was persistent in seeking after the thing she wanted. Then Jesus said” “Won’t God answer His own elect who cry to Him daily?” If that unjust judge took action just because that woman kept after him, this indicates to us that the God of heaven hear and answer the prayers of His people as well. It is all about praying and having the faith that God will answer.
In Matthew 24:12, Jesus said, “Because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” This means boundless immorality and a growing lack of love exists throughout the earth; especially in America today. We have many examples; one of them right now is of police brutality and some people taking matters into their own hands, resulting into a racial divide and political changes in America. Remember “two wrongs don't make a right.” The meaning of this verse is that agape love will grow cold because of lawlessness. Even though there may still be brotherly love, kindness, and human affection, on national and international scales, faith in God has declined dramatically in the last century or so, especially throughout the nations of the Western world.
Revelation 2:4 says “… yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first.” The Ephesian church had a problem. It was not in holding false teachers at arm's length, but in tending to become lax, to "drift with the tide," as it were, and this made them an easy target for false teachers. In this way, their weakness connected to their strength. They approached matters somewhat lackadaisically when times were fairly good, but when times became bad, they seemed to be able to stand up for the truth.”
Even the apostles wrote similar things in their Epistles. One example being that the members of the church needed to get refocus because false doctrines and false teachers were already evident among them and causing problems. If they did not root them out quickly, destruction would follow. Today, we do not heed to the warning of the Epistles of the Gospel we preached since men are selfish in their ways and as a result, the church has become weakened.
But I tell you as we step into this New Year of 2017, the Lord also is keeping and fulfilling his plan. Take heed that no man deceives you my fellow brothers and sisters for Jesus warned us of the many that will be deceived, even the very elect. He emphasized this by saying, “behold I have told you before.” So, when we see it happening we can remember His words and know that it is as He said.
Who is the author of this deception? Rev 12:9 “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world.”
Deception will worsen as we get nearer to the end. Remember the very elect are in danger of being deceived. There will be, and are now, false ministers within the Christian churches appearing as ministers of righteousness. I see that even with my own people. But I tell you stay firm, be vigilant and on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong against all your seen and unseen enemies…seeing and trusting him that is invisible to do and suffer for his will (1 Corinthians 16:13).
It is God who is able to keep us from falling, so let us keep on trusting Him, worshiping Him, following Him and He will never allow the enemy to prevail over us. Yes! He will find faith on earth, I have faith! And may God help us all to keep the faith unto the end! There are tough times ahead! Yes! The word of God has been challenged by men! Yes! They will continue to change the writings in the Bible to suit their needs! Yes!
In Revelation 22:18-19, the Word of God says: For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
